Biography

Founded in 2019 during a legendary night at the Rockfabrik in 
Ludwigsburg, VIOLET breathe new life into the vibrant, colorful and 
flamboyant spirit of the 1980s, a decade defined by timeless melodies, 

With their critically acclaimed debut album “Illusions” (2022), hailed 
by fans and press alike as a true time machine back to the eighties, the 
band from the Stuttgart area made an immediate and lasting impact. Their 
2024 follow-up “Mysteria” marked a clear step forward. The album is more 
mature, more confident, and firmly establishing VIOLET as one of the 
leading bands of the new AOR generation.

The upcoming 2026 EP “Silhouettes” is set to elevate the band to the 
next level and further underline their reputation as a force to be 
reckoned with. VIOLET’s live shows have already become must-see events. 
Not only for die-hard AOR fans, but for anyone who appreciates passion, 
musicianship, and unforgettable songs.
