Biography

Nattverd was initially started in the 90`s, but due to reasons Beyond Control, was delayed upuntil 2014. A few tracks where written in this period by Ormr and Atyr, and released on the debut album “Vi vet gud Er En Løgner” released in 2017 through Darker Than Black Records. On this album Ormr and Atyr recruited Serpentr on drums. The album received great critical accalaim in the underground scene. In 2018 they released their EP «Skuggen», which featured Skjolden on guest drums, from infamous BM band Fester. Shortly after this EP, they wrote their new album «Styggdom» and recruited drummer Antichristian (ex-Tsjuder) and bassist Sveinr (Nordjevel and ex-Ragnarok). They also got a record deal with infamous Osmose Productions. The album was released january 2020 to high praise in the media. In 2021 they released their last album Vandring, and was signed by Flaming Arts Agency to take the music live. On this album Aven joined the band on guitars, and after the album they parted ways with drummer Antichristian. They then was joined by drummer Renton (ex Urgehal and ex Sarkom), who has been ex drummer in Sarkom, Urgehal etc. They have also recorded their new album in Caliban Studio Storsjøen, to be released in 2023 by Soulseller Records. Nattverd is also confirmed for Steelfest Open Air 2023.
