Biography

Since their inception in 2019, KERRIGAN is one of the most promising acts in old school heavy metal. Starting out as a duo, throughout 2019-2023, Bruno Schotten (guitars) and Jonas Weber (vocals + guitars) released their first demo tape “Heavy Metal 2020” through Fucking Kill Records and received lots of attention in the heavy metal / nwothm scene. After the promising debut, KERRIGAN was signed by High Roller Records for their debut full length album. Together with Jonathan Döring (drums) the trio recorded “Bloodmoon”, their celebrated first album. It was this album that transformed the duo into a fully fleshed out band of heavy metal maniacs. The release of “Bloodmoon” in 2023 scored the band a first run of prestigious gigs with bands including Cirith Ungol and Asphyx, as well as appearances at the famous KEEP IT TRUE RISING festival. Through the strong support of High Roller Records, the band gained a wide cult of followers and received overwhelming reviews in the press.

Consequently, KERRIGAN was elected as Deaf Forever magazine’s newcomer of the year 2023. After some initial changes, the band lineup was finalized in 2025, when Jakob Zeblin (bass) joined forces with KERRIGAN. The continued success of “Bloodmoon” and KERRIGAN’s live shows led to an extended signing with High Roller Records, including a reprint of “Bloodmoon” as well as a High Roller edition of their long sold out demo tape “Heavy Metal 2020”. High Roller also released the new KERRIGAN studio album “Wayfarer”.
