Biography

DIETH is a heavy metal powerhouse formed in 2022 in Gdańsk, Poland. The band is centered around guitarist/vocalist Guilherme Miranda (Entombed A.D.), drummer Michał Łysejko (Decapitated), and guitarist Hubert Więcek—one of Poland’s most recognized metal guitarists, widely respected for his work with Acid Drinkers and Banisher. With this lineup, DIETH quickly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the metal scene, combining technical mastery with raw intensity.

Their debut album, To Hell and Back, released in June 2023 via Napalm Records, showcased their unique sound and vision. That summer, DIETH stormed Europe, headlining shows and dominating festivals such as Graspop Metal Meeting, Motocultor Festival, and Metal on the Hill. Sharing stages with metal legends like Testament and
Sepultura as direct support further cemented their reputation as a formidable live act. In January 2024, DIETH made their North American debut at the House of Blues Anaheim and followed this milestone with a European tour in July 2024, supporting KK’s Priest on the Return of the Sinner tour, delivering electrifying performances across Poland, Switzerland, France, and Spain. Later that same year, DIETH wrapped up their European run by co-headlining the Blood of Heroes tour with Kings of Thrash. Spanning no less than 14 different countries, the tour highlighted the band’s undeniable presence and ability to command any stage.

In 2026, DIETH has officially evolved into its final, most lethal form. By welcoming Tobias Cristiansson (Necrophobic, ex-Dismember/Grave) on bass, the band has shed its skin to embrace a darker, more uncompromising sonic identity. This isn’t just a lineup change; it is a total recalibration. With Tobias’s legendary Swedish death metal pedigree reinforcing the foundation, the new material is significantly more aggressive, stripping away the polished edges of the past to reveal a raw, high-velocity assault.
