ALTERIUM is the new Italian power metal quintet led by Nicoletta Rosellini (ex. Kalidia, Walk in Darkness).The band, born in late 2022, consists of Nicoletta, and former bandmates Paolo Campitelli (guitars) and Dario Gozzi (drums) from Kalidia, soon joined by two exceptional members and talented musicians: Alessandro Mammola (guitars, also in Draconicon) and Luca Scalabrin (bass, also in Altair).

After Kalidia split, Nicoletta decides to take a different approach and finally unleashes her whole potential as both a singer and a songwriter. Under the guidance of producer Lars Rettkowitz (Freedom Call), Alterium records their bombastic debut album entitled ‘Of War and Flames’. The album features 9 original classy power metal tracks and a cover of the Sabaton classic “Bismarck”.
“Of War and Flames” is a triumph of catchy choruses, terrific vocal lines, powerful sounds, strong guitar riffs, explosive drums, majestic choirs and captivating grooves, all skillfully mastered by Achim Koehler. An additional bonus track has already been recorded, and the band is working on their second album. 

During her experience with Kalidia, Nicoletta achieved a consistent fame and she currently have more than 50,000 followerson social media. Kalidia’s well-acclaimed second album ‘The Frozen Throne’ (2018) reached more than 4 million streams on Spotify, 6 million views on YouTube and over 4,000 physical copies sold. Nicoletta is also known for being the lead singer of the band of mysterious gothic metallers: Walk in Darkness (studio project). Nicoletta and Walk in Darkness released 4 successful albums and can boast more than 13 million views on YouTube.

Besides her musical career, Nicoletta is an acclaimed influencer for the geek/nerd culture (Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Warner Bros, Nintendo, Hogwarts Legacy, Asmode, and more). She’s a regular guest on the Italian TV show ‘Crossover Universo Nerd’ and she’s also performed (both with Kalidia and for her ‘solo nerd show’) at the most important Italian comicons, such as Lucca Comics and Games, Milan Games week, Rimini Comix, Torino Comics.
Nicoletta is also a brand influencer for several gothic/metal clothing brands such as EMP, Restyle.pl, Spiral Direct.
