Biography

CARNATION is a Belgian death metal band formed in 2013 in Heist-op-den-Berg, known for revitalizing old-school death metal with a modern approach. Signed to Season of Mist, they have released acclaimed albums like Chapel of Abhorrence (2018)Where Death Lies (2020), and the more experimental Cursed Mortality (2023).

In the fall of 2026 they will release their fourth album, which promises to be a return to their roots.

CARNATION Uncompromising Death Metal with a fresh melodic touch and an addictive groove. CARNATION is considered to be one of the most promising Death Metal bands from the new generation and Europe’s biggest festivals already seem to be aware: Hellfest, Graspop, Brutal Assault, Summer Breeze, Into The Grave, Alcatraz, Party San,… CARNATION have brought death to all these festivals, making tens of thousands of Metalheads banging their heads all across the continent.
