Biography

Grymheart is a melodic power death metal band founded by Gabriel Blacksmith, former leader of Hungarian power metal legends Wisdom. Their music incorporates different genres, like melodic death, folk and power metal, infusing it with epic and energetic elements.
The lyrics take you into a mythological dark world where demons and monsters threaten humanity. Each song tells about mystical creatures, mixing horror and fantasy elements, but some complex messages are hidden behind the words as well.
This mystical concept determines the band’s whole visual/stage appearance: the members play monster hunters who are fighting the evil ones and protecting the innocents.
The debut album ‘Hellish Hunt’ was released on September 22nd, 2023 by Scarlet Records. It got a lot of very great feedback around the world from both the press and fans, and the album received the maximum score in several reviews.
Grymheart has more than 20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and the single ‘Ignis Fatuus’ has over 1,5 million views on YouTube.
