Biography

Megaton Sword is an Epic Heavy Metal force hailing from Winterthur, Switzerland, founded in 2018. Drawing inspiration from the spirit of classic Heavy Metal, the band channels thunderous riffs, commanding vocals, and a battle-hardened aesthetic into a sound that feels epic, timeless, and fierce. Their dedication to steel quickly earned them a strong reputation within the international underground metal scene.

Megaton Sword’s music is defined not only by its thunderous sound but also by its rich storytelling. Their lyrics revolve around a fictional world called Niralet – a mythic realm of conquest, sacrifice, triumph, and tragedy. This imagined universe serves as the conceptual backbone of their work, inspiring tales of heroes, battles, and dark destinies woven throughout their Epic Metal anthems.

The band released their debut EP “Niralet” in 2019, introducing listeners to their fantasy-driven vision. They followed it with the full-length albums “Blood Hails Steel – Steel Hails Fire” (2020) and “Might & Power (2023)”, further expanding both their sound and the lore of Niralet. Through dedication to epic themes and traditional Heavy Metal values, Megaton Sword continue to forge their legacy within the international metal scene.
