Biography

“Art Nation is a Swedish modern metal band formed in 2014 by vocalist Alexander Strandell and guitarist Christoffer Borg.
The lineup has since established itself as one of Scandinavia’s most promising acts, praised for soaring melodies, energy and anthemic choruses.

Their debut Revolution (2015) earned GAFFA Award nominations, followed by Liberation (2017) on Sony Music Sweden. The band has performed at major festivals and shared stages with Sabaton, Hammerfall, Europe, Amaranthe and more.

The new album The Ascendance (2025) entered the Swedish Album Chart at #10, peaked at #2 in sales and debuted at #37 globally, surpassing 17 million Spotify streams.
Next up is Masters of Rock 2026 in the Czech Republic, marking another milestone in their international rise.
