Biography

Temple of Dread is a German Death Metal band from East Frisia that was founded in 2018. The band has been under contract with Testimony Records since their first album. The aim of Temple of Dread is to transfer the carefree spirit of the eighties and nineties Death Metal scene to the present day. Their music is characterized by songs with a high recognition value, comprehensible structures and a predominantly high tempo.

The band was founded by Markus Bünnemeyer, who plays both guitar and bass. All of the band’s lyrics are written by Markus’ school friend Frank “Doc” Albers. Other musicians are Jens Finger, who is the singer and is actually the guitarist in the band Slaughterday, and Jörg Uken on drums. All albums were recorded and produced by Jörg Uken in his Soundlodge Studio.
